What do you do at Mizuho?
I'm in charge of internal audit at Mizuho Bank in Mexico. I ensure that the bank in Mexico complies with all external and internal regulations.

How is Mizuho different from other places you've worked?
The most important difference is the trust placed in employees and the pleasant work environment.

What’s one thing you've learned while at Mizuho or in the industry?
In every place I've worked, thoroughly knowing regulations and strictly applying them is important in achieving efficiency and being respected in the industry.

What’s something you’ve learned from another culture?
I believe it’s important to learn the customs of the people and appreciate their environment. I always apply the principle, "a la tierra que fueres haz lo que vieres." (When in Rome, do as the Romans.)

What do you do for fun?
I like playing guitar, a good picnic, going to the theater or the cinema and family time.
